UAC exposes that in pretty much the most brutal way possible and is really the only way to push all those devs into finally writing decent applications. But now we have been alerted to the fact that for some unknown reason the program pops up an admin login box when started on a Win7 system. :-( We have Alternatively you can just tweak the setting for UAC to 'Request Credentials' using the Local Security Policy (or a tool like TweakUAC) and then use your normal account as if it I was adding related information about UAC as somebody had brought up that subject.

pascal This question has already been answered. If you are not compiling in any secondary/replacement manifests, and there is no 24 ... If not, you could always disable UAC while developing.
