Cups Unable To Open Usb Port Device File Permission Denied
Downloaded the Serial Port Terminal and was able to get some use but the system kept locking up. Here's how I got around the problem (long version). Where do the drivers come from?  Can you print a test page as root? Even if I create that node with mknod (and fix the ownership and permissions and point cupsd to it),when I try to print the test page, cups says "Unable to open Oh well. 8)Reply Diaa saysMarch 24, 2014 at 4:20 am how did you check the BIOS?
