Blackberry Unable To Read Ognl Expression

Is the .page file necessary with Tapestry 4 and java 1.5. The domain has N/A Facebook Likes, N/A Facebook Shares, N/A Google+. I am using Tapestry 4 with Java 1.5. Having some bindings expect litterals, and some expect expressions is the source of lots and lots of errors, and not just in newbies either. Check This Out

The defaults idea was well-intentioned, but if it leads to this much confusion, then it's not worth it.
