Alert Unable To Opendir Info
If I log in as root and run sa-learn, it will use the bayes database in /root/.spamassassin/ and if i log in as jim and run sa-learn it will use the Sep 5 15:43:54 localhost qmail: 999719034.261442 alert: unable to opendir info/0, sleeping... Stop the revelant service with using the svc command. but qmail works again after i changed the ownership of queue/info. Source

The other odd thing is that their server gives mine a Max Segment Size of 1452 but gives other server's a response of 1460. then.. debug is a handy tool.

i have created the new one, with the right permission and ownership, but the 'ls' is still blinking. Verify the service is down with the svstat command. The below example continues with the smtp service as will the rest. It appears to accept incoming mails though.

this probably threw away every message which was originally sitting in bucket number 24 or higher, and moved the remainder into random bucket numbers so that even if qmail-send were able and if you read the script before you ran it, you would have seen a note saying the same thing. svstat /var/qmail/supervise/smtp tail /var/log/qmail/smtp/current The svstat command should show the service running for more than one second. The directory /var/qmail/queue/info and all dirs below it should have permissions: 700 qmails:qmail All files in the subdirs should have permissions: 600 qmails:qmail Try stopping qmail, fixing these problems, and restart This may not fix your problem, but it is a sure way to get a clean restart without a reboot. you didn't fix your queue. but the mail direktori is still there..
